I used the Lip Base Pencil in Go Dutch as an all over color. I love a matte lip and this one does not feel dry which is a plus. This is my go to when I wear a bold eye and want to keep my lips nude and understated.

 This Sigma blush in Heavenly has quickly become a favorite. It's highly pigmented and blend-able. This color has a matte finish but if you prefer shimmer they've got you covered!  The Sigma eyeshadow in Fawn is perfect for all over color, wear it alone (pictured below) or with a bold liner (pictured above) for a little more drama.

 Sigma Beauty brushes are high quality, hand crafted, lightweight, soft, and durable. Sigma is known for their brushes and that's no coincidence. I'm no makeup artist, but I'm sure we can all agree that having good brushes is key! The Sigmax Kabuki Kit is a must have in my book. I used the Flat Kabuki F80 to apply my liquid foundation. It goes on like a dream, no streaks, just smooth all over, even coverage. For blush on the apples of my cheeks my favorite is the Angled Kabuki F84. Recently I was fortunate enough to get a makeup lesson at Birchbox Soho by makeup guru Manna Kadar. After 15 years in the beauty industry she developed her own line in January 2012. 

Manna not only gave us a makeup tutorial but also showed us how to pick the perfect concealer, the importance of cleaning our brushes, why primer is a must, and she showed us how to contour in 2 simple steps.

Manna's philosophy is 'Beauty Simplified' because she understands how busy life can be. Whether we are working 9 to 5, stay at home moms, students, or juggling home, family, and work, putting on makeup shouldn't feel like a chore. She developed her line so that it takes half the time to apply but last twice as long! Her 3 step process is simple 1. Prime 2. Polish 3. So I had the most exhilarating facial ever thanks to Monika Alaerts of Monika Day Spa! Monika is a NY licensed Esthetician & Massage Therapist, she works for herself and treats each client like a friend. Her goal is not only to help you put your best face forward  but also to give you an individualize experience with a facial that is customized to meet your needs. She uses Guinot products, a French line with over 40 years in the business of skincare & beauty. While I was under her care she answered all my concerns, asked me questions to get to know me & my skin, routines, etc. she gave me tons of info and tips, was super nice, friendly, and professional.  Unlike with other facials I've had not once did I feel like I was on a timer, in fact I know my 1 hour facial went beyond. My facial was thorough, customized to my needs, and because Monika works for herself she makes sure you have a wonderful, relaxing, and truly satisfying experience!

Korres Skincare & Makeup feature over 400 natural and/or certified organic products. I personally own a few and wanted to share my thoughts with you. My most recent purchase was the Korres 3 Step Prep with Quercetin & Oak. This set consists of a face primer, eye primer, and under eye concealer. Both primers have a cream like consistency and go on smoothly and easily. You can slightly smell the botanicals, especially in the face primer. The under eye concealer is now one of my faves (thanks to my genetics, I'm always searching for the latest & greatest in concealers). It can be applied with a concealer brush or your finger (I like to start with a brush and finish with my finger). I love the coverage, goes on smoothly, can be layered if needed. I also dab a little on the sides of my nose as well as any blemishes I may have going on at the time. The best part of these three products is that they are all anti-aging! Other Korres products I own & use regularly are the Mineral Foundation with SPF 30 and the Mineral Illuminating Powder. The Foundation comes in powder form and includes a sponge applicator (I like to dab it on with the sponge and finish with a brush). This foundation is perfect if you're looking for medium to light coverage, can be layered if needed, and does not feel caked-on or heavy. The Illuminating Powder is perfect to highlight the cheek bones as well as nose-bridge, and temporal areas, I especially like this product for an evening out.
