nvey eco is a line of makeup and skincare that is pure organic and cruelty free. I am all for natural products that are good to my skin but I also want products that are going to work and hold up throughout my busy day. Let's just say nvey eco did not disappoint! I went with colors that I could wear everyday, something that looked and felt natural as opposed to made-up. Now don't get me wrong they carry a full line in an array of colors from light to ultra dramatic so you will definitely find what you're looking for with nvey eco. 

The eyeshadow in Brown Sugar is a perfect all over color. I used the lighter Rock Candy color to highlight under my brow bone as well as in the inner corners of my eyes to brighten. The mascara gave me length and clump free separation while the blush in Blushing Sunset gave my cheeks a nice subtle color (much needed during this drab never-ending Winter). The foundation was easy to apply and gave me nice coverage without feeling heavy or caked on. It can be applied with a brush, beauty blender sponge, or your fingers, I prefer a brush. The lip gloss went on sheer but can be layered. The color was perfect for everyday use. Overall I was very happy with the line, the quality, and the wear. So I had the most exhilarating facial ever thanks to Monika Alaerts of Monika Day Spa! Monika is a NY licensed Esthetician & Massage Therapist, she works for herself and treats each client like a friend. Her goal is not only to help you put your best face forward  but also to give you an individualize experience with a facial that is customized to meet your needs. She uses Guinot products, a French line with over 40 years in the business of skincare & beauty. While I was under her care she answered all my concerns, asked me questions to get to know me & my skin, routines, etc. she gave me tons of info and tips, was super nice, friendly, and professional.  Unlike with other facials I've had not once did I feel like I was on a timer, in fact I know my 1 hour facial went beyond. My facial was thorough, customized to my needs, and because Monika works for herself she makes sure you have a wonderful, relaxing, and truly satisfying experience!

Korres Skincare & Makeup feature over 400 natural and/or certified organic products. I personally own a few and wanted to share my thoughts with you. My most recent purchase was the Korres 3 Step Prep with Quercetin & Oak. This set consists of a face primer, eye primer, and under eye concealer. Both primers have a cream like consistency and go on smoothly and easily. You can slightly smell the botanicals, especially in the face primer. The under eye concealer is now one of my faves (thanks to my genetics, I'm always searching for the latest & greatest in concealers). It can be applied with a concealer brush or your finger (I like to start with a brush and finish with my finger). I love the coverage, goes on smoothly, can be layered if needed. I also dab a little on the sides of my nose as well as any blemishes I may have going on at the time. The best part of these three products is that they are all anti-aging! Other Korres products I own & use regularly are the Mineral Foundation with SPF 30 and the Mineral Illuminating Powder. The Foundation comes in powder form and includes a sponge applicator (I like to dab it on with the sponge and finish with a brush). This foundation is perfect if you're looking for medium to light coverage, can be layered if needed, and does not feel caked-on or heavy. The Illuminating Powder is perfect to highlight the cheek bones as well as nose-bridge, and temporal areas, I especially like this product for an evening out.
