the weekend.....
5:00 AM
Most weekends I'm catching up, running errands, and planning for the week ahead. I want to look good and feel comfortable but that doesn't mean sweats are my only option. I know many of us lead very busy lives but I strongly believe that if we put a little extra effort we can make even the most basic jeans & tee look not so basic. Why not grab a pair of comfy booties instead of running shoes? Add a pop of bright color to your lips & cheeks! Messy hair and no time to do it? No problem, just throw on a cute hat or try a messy bun! These are just a few ideas I wanted to share, I hope I've inspired your weekend wardrobe!

ReplyDeleteyou are so inspirational! how do you do it?!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Jenn, that's very sweet! Trends are nice but they come and go, so I try not to spend too much money on them. Every girl should have some basic pieces that she can mix & match. Things that don't go out of style but can easily be updated with accessories, hats, scarves, belts, etc. A great fitting pair of jeans, a white tee, a fitted blazer, are just a few pieces that to me are must haves. You can start from there and build on that. Hope that was helpful :)

ReplyDeleteHayyyyyy! I love the hunter green sock and boot combo! My go to outfit is a plain white tee, jeans and a pair of long boots with a comfy chunky sweater plus very little makeup. Of course can forget about an easy bun and hoops to top it off :)
ReplyDeleteLooking good!! I'm with you, sweats rarely make it out of my apartment. For the weekend I love jeans, flats and a fun sweater or top. I keep the makeup simple with tinted moisturizer and a fun lipgloss. If I'm not feeling my hair, I put a turban on and I'm ready to go. Great post!
